“To lead, unify and represent the undergraduate student body,” reads the constitution of Dominican University’s Student Government Association. Lacking leadership for the last four months, SGA’s new leadership is in full swing to do just that. However, the new president is still figuring out how get a foot in the ground.

“Undergraduate students understand that SGA is the government, but its actual job is to oversee other organizations,” Rosalba Meza, SGA’s new president said. “We are not a program body. We should be looked at as a student government.”
